Not quite as exciting, but I once found an Ops wing with bar in the breast pocket of a SD tunic I bought. You could see where it had been, but I never thought it would be in the pocket! Thanks goodness I dry-clean everything when I buy it and check all pockets.
Also found a POW ID card folded up and stuck in the brim of a peaked hat too. The guy was at Stalag Luft III to boot.
