Response to DIY labels...

Ron triggered me to finally fit the label to the seat pack. Thanks again Gerry, for the fantastic picture of the seat type label!
Ron also provided me with a picture of a back pad label which I redid and fitted.
Not bad at all, I don't think. All original (barely legible early 50's) labels are still present so no harm done there.

I got the 1953 GQ harness as a gift. It had no seat pack nor a back pad and was missing the left riser.
The missing parts were sourced from eBay and Sefton's made me a very nice back pad. In Holland I managed to get a 20 panel white chute (4 panels too small, but it makes packing easier) to which I will fit the shroud lines. I have packed seat type chutes before, helped by the AP on parachutes. So next I'll fit all the parts to the harness, pack it the way it should be packed and Robert is my mothers brother!

The result is, I hope, a passable seat type parachute for not too much dosh.
If any body is interested in a PDF from either label, just let me know.

Cheers, Toine
