afternoon all, ive just purchased myself a pair of 1940 pattern boots for a very good price as they have seen better days, the rubber 'galosh' around the bottom is very deteriorated. does anybody have any ideas on how to restore this part of the boot, i may have a few ideas myself but any outside perspective would be genuinly useful. has anybody done this before? how did it turn out? thanks.
