Uffz.Rudolf Leushake - Observer - Killed
Uffz.Karl Missy - Wireless operator - POW
Uffz.Johann Meyer - Mechanic - Killed

Mission:
Attacking shipping off the Farne Islands near Berwick Upon Tweed in Northumberland.

Date:
3rd February 1940

Resting Place:
Leushake and Meyer were burried at Catterick in North Yorkshire on 6th February 1940.
Since removed and burried in the German War Cemetery at Cannock Chase in Staffordshire.

Memorial Plaque:
In June 1945 NYCC erected a plaque at Bannial Farm near Whitby, it can be seen on a Stone Pillar at Sleight Lane End, which is at the junction of the A171 and A169.
