I've decided to sell my Pegasus 1941 pattern mae west in order to raise funds for other purchases. It's 3.5 years old, and it has been worn at a few events. However, it is still in new condition. It has the kapoks provided by Steve when he sold it to me, and it has all original accessories.
This includes a bladder, AM marked chrome tube whistle, skull cap, toggle rope, the correct torch and battery pack for the 41 pattern vest, and the chrome AM marked release handle for the CO2 cylinder. The release handle is correctly attached to the bladder, but it is not attached to a CO2 cylinder.
The CO2 cylinder is the only missing item that would make this 100% complete. Of course since it would be hidden inside the bladder, it would not matter much for display or reenactments.
Current retail for a new 41 pattern mae west from Pegasus is approximately $400. Current retail for all of these original accessories is approximately $750. I'm listing this for $800 plus shipping costs.
