Scrambles Cafe Biggin Hill

If any of you have ever been to Biggin hill you have probably seen 'Scrambles Cafe' which is just next to the airport, but in the local paper this week it has been discovered that it is to close in August and be knocked down and in its place an electrical sub station.
It was built in the early 1900s and since then has been used as a parachute packing centre and a cinema for RAF personnel during the war. It is know used as a cafe and has been redecorated in camouflage and the RAF colours.
It would be a shame for this piece of history to be knocked down so if you could please write to the Editor of the Biggin Hill News at:
