Does anyone have a modern day match for the RAF Blue paint?

What use, what colour?

It might depend on the use. I don't have a reference number for a colour paint, but it is obvious that RAF painted vehicles are in a blue grey colour, whereas something like a helmet can almost be straight grey. There might have been different paints for different uses during the war, but either way there is certainly more than one shade.

Mk VII goggles

A pair of Mk VII goggles can be used to match the blue-grey at a paint shop, if you have access to a set.

Now that is a brilliant idea, why didn't I think of that... DUH!

The sad part is that a portion of my job is teaching students how to remodel structures, I instruct them how to get paint color matched by a computer.

Double Duh!
