Hi all

I hope you do not mind me contacting the Forum, but I am trying to publicise a small charitable appeal I am running in the village of Wedmore in Somerset to raise funds to renovate to WW1 war graves at St Mary's Church that have fallen into a serious state of disrepair. One belongs to a 19-year-old pilot in the RFC who died in September 1917 and the other a Canadian servicemen in the 44th Canadian Infantry who died of wounds in January 1919 (his family came from the village). Since both are private memorials they fall outside the remit of the CWGC and other sources of funding are marked by their absence.

Full details can be seen at: http:www.wedmorewargraves.co.uk.

Please do have a look

Any help would be very appreciated,

ATB

Tim
