I'm looking for info on officer rank slides for RCAF crew flying in the Burma campaign. My question is regarding the correct colour slides for the tropical khaki uniforms? Would it be the blue or were the light brown rank slides used at this time?

Generally, in places like africa and the far east it was generally what they could get. As supplies were harder to get than when in the UK or Canada, items were often altered or locally made. Generally the khaki slip ons would have been worn, but wearing blue would not be totally incorrect.
