What type info

What type of info are you looking for?

The "Lancaster at War" series is good for wartime photos -- typically with aircrew.

"Lancaster, the Definitive Record" gives a god view of development and use plus an accounting of each aircraft's fate.

Lindsay, you know about my books. Well the interest started with the Lanc and the Lancaster at War series. Numbers 1, 2, 4 and 5 were written by Mike Garbett and Brian Goulding. The third was written by Alex Thorne. I'd thoroughly recommend the former as about the best.

LANCASTER the second world war's greatest bomber. By Leo McKinstry. A large and infomative book has some nice pics of the production lines at Woodford in Cheshire where nearly half of the 7000 odd Lancs were assembled.
