How to Set Up Your Index Page

Page Creation Tutorial


  • Login
  • Select New on the Indexes (shown by cursor)


  • Enter the name of your index,
    and any HTML headers and footers to make the index uniform with your boards
    and chatrooms


  • Select colors and fonts
  • Click Create at the bottom of your screen
  • You'll use the your index page link as the gateway to your boards, chats,
    and interactive community

  • From your Indexes menu,
    go into Edit


  • Go into your Resources List. This is the most important part of the


  • Select the boards and chats you want on your Index Page
  • Do this by clicking on your top board, then using your Shift and your Down Arrow keys to highlight resources


  • If you want to rearrange the order in which boards or chat rooms show
    up, (to alphabetize them, for example) click on the one you want to
    move, then click either Move up or Move down to put it where you want it
  • Be sure to re-select all the boards and hats you want to have in the final index after you've moved anything
  • Save your page

  • Your final Index will show each board and chat you have chosen, the most recent post to that board or chat, and the people currently viewing that resource
