The vinca, sedums and creeping thymes, I googled and I like. This is the first time I have actually planted outside, so it's a little daunting compared to houseplants.
I agree the mulch is ugly, even though my yellow slime mold hearts it. The HOA put it down so I'll have to review the 10,000 pages of HOA bylaws to see if I can get away with that. I am hoping so cause your idea sounds cool.
