Do you all have Geckos up there? Or, perhaps it's just a Texas and or desert thing... (will Google).
I have a fear of getting a pool, even though I really want one...because of a fear that we'd end up killing all our gecko yard friends.
Also, how much work is it, really for the pool maintenance? An hour or so a week, or like a part time job!!>??? LOL.
