When I turned 20, I was of legal drinking age.
The legal drinking age in MA changed from 20 to 21 about 10 weeks later, but I could still drink legally because I turned 20 before the change.
I thought I'd be drunk most nights and hungover most mornings.
As it turned out, I was only drunk about 3 out of every 7 nights and was hungover much less often. Drinking frequency tailed off after age 25.
Huh? Oh, you mean for a career?
I really didn't have any career aspirations at age 20.
I figured I'd find some decent job after graduating, stay there for a couple years and then figure out what I really wanted to do.
I did find a decent job. After 25 years I'm still at the same company (sort of - there have been many mergers, acquisitions, and spin-offs during the 25 years).
