How can anon complain I post about food too much then ask me to plan a party for them.
First Anon, you are supposedly the guest of honor, but still a guest, therefore I'm sure you'd never make demands such as "I want this or that". It would be unspeakably rude to the people throwing a party in your honor.
Second, What you're describing Anon is a dinner party, not a shower. A shower is light fare, served in the afternoon, usually sundays.
A dinner party's entertainment is dinner itself, fine wine and good conversation. People hope to linger over fine food and good company.
A shower's entertainment is sometimes silly games, and making sure grandmother has a good seat to see you open your china. People hope to see gifts open as soon as possible and get out of there.
Third, if you want me to plan a shower for you, just say so.
