HI! I am back. WOW was it H-O-FRICKIN-T in Phoenix... 100 degrees all the time. I lived there for 20 years, but being away from it for a few doesn't prepare. UGH.
So I went back to Phoenix for my niece's HS graduation. Such fun! I almost died... no, really. My plane took off in San Diego, but the crew announced that we were circling because OH HAI? NONE OF THE INSTRUMENTS IN THE COCKPIT were working. Oh.. hm. Yay. Get back to us in 10? Oh how fun! They came then announced that we would have to discontinue the flight and land again in SD, but we were too heavy with fuel to land so needed to circle to burn off so we could land.
Me to SO-Boo: Really? This is how I go out? No... srsly?
So-BOO: Hush.
Me: SERIOUSLY?!?! You are worried about INSIDE VOICE right NOW?
SO-BOO: ::: eye roll:::
So, yeah. I lived. And kudos to Southwest airlines that handled all the re-flight transfers extremely well. And yes, no sarcasm. They did.
SO YAY I GOT TO PHX for my niece's grad... some pics... it is kelcy's (my niece) graduation
Okay this is my SO-BOO bobby and the grad's sister, little Lily. I posted for naming her, once upon an embreyo... I did the french braids.
This is the crime scene for the graduation, the field at the high school... 100 degrees and we had to be there at 5:30 although grad didn't start until 7:00 PM.. whew!
Be cool Lily.. wearing Daddy's sunglasses waiting for Sissy to graduate.
The food spread before graduation... preparty. Uhmm HAI COSTCO! I love your shrimp pasta!
The SO-BOO and me and the NEW GRADUATE... congrats miss Kelcy!
The after party... me hugging my graduate (ASU) of a week ago... Ryan. So much fun!
