This is my favorite. They last forever if you don't put them in the dryer. Sadly, you can only get them at Lane Giant which I hate because I wouldn't wear 90% of their clothes if you paid me. But, I haven't found a bra I liked as much, and I have looked everywhere. They come with air pad things but I just take them out so I don't choke to death on my own tits.
I googled "relax" to get some pics for jos thread today and was SHOCKED at what came up on the first page. I feel like I will be flagged by the IT police if I actually google the word "bra."
Ginny, Caps, Aurora and I wear the same bra. I'm a 34 D and 5'2" as well. LB makes good quality bra's that hold the girls in place quite well.
And I've had the underwire pop-out happen before too, it's painful and not fun. Oh, and it popped OUT of my shirt thru the buttons....at work. How long and who saw me like that is unknown.
I got 3 new bras at Intimacy, but they were an investment . . . that place is wicked 'spensive. It was good though because my other bras were not even close to the right size. I was wearing 36B, and found out I'm a 32D!
34 DD here, and I'm shrinking down to 5' 5". I buy Wacoal bras. They are expensive, but pretty, and hold up forever if you wash them right. Heh, hold up forever.
Lol - lisa i'm pretty sure the same thing would happen to me! I'm a 36 D but my weight has gone up and down so much in the past couple of years (fucking depo provera). I'm not even sure what i'm basing that sizing on.
I third the Wacoal recommendation. Expensive, but you can find them at Nordstrom Rack (heh. She said rack) and outlet malls at a good discount. Also, the fitters at Nordstrom are phenomenal if you are near one and don't mind being stripped, groped and bent over in a dressing room by a total stranger.
Oh... Cacique. I didn't even know they were still around. I worked there briefly after college. They were owned by the same company that owns Victoria's Secret and half the other stores at the mall. I didn't understand why there'd be two huge lingerie stores so close together in one mall until I was told Victoria's Secret was modeled after "English-type" lingerie and Cacique was more French. Whatever. But I learned to measure women for bras. Fun. fun.
Also, my long distance running bra of choice is the Moving Comfort Calli. It's made of some kevlar-like material and is surprisingly flattering. I'll spare everybody the 10-point Jiffy Bube checklist used for strapping the girls in for running a marathon, unless you really want to know. It involves one sock, lubricant, and a patch of moleskin. Kind of complicated, just saying.
Ok. Went to LB today and got not one, but TWO of those air bag bras buy one get one half off!
I had to go to the friggin' MALL though. Not just any mall but the westfarms mall which is a mecca for high maintenance women and the freakishly good looking. I hate that mall.
Anyway, I see what you mean about the airbags. I was in serious danger of smothering myself with them in. Even without them the effect was impressive.
And and on topic, I went to Nordy's rack today and looked for that bra you mentioned, PG, but I couldn't find it. They did have some lovely Too Faced stuff on clearance, though.
Emokid is throwing slomo dove at my face, I guess that means he flipped me the bird
But did you have one of the fitters violate you in the dressing room and then send you out with the perfect bra like I recommended?
If you're referring to the InMotion Calli, you can find it at Title Nine Sports. I have to give them props for stocking a full range of big girl sizes in their stores, and for their clear rating system for support.
I would maybe let a regular Nordy's sales girl fondle me, but Nordstrom's Rack?
I used to think I could never but honestly, the last time I bought an expensive corset at Fredericks, I was like hell yeah, bitch... get in here and go all mammy on my ass.
