OK...Here's a questions that has been stirring in my brain for a while now...
At the top I mention that there is only 205 days left until 2010...
What will we call that decade?
We say the "80s" for the years between: 1980 - 1989; the "90s" for the years between 1990 - 1999...
And when we describe a specific year we say things like, "I was born in '83"
And of course... we break the cycle for the years between 2000 - 2009 by calling it either, "The Millennium" or, for example for 2009, saying "Oh-nine" or the full "Two-Thousand-nine".
So... If I haven't confused you...
How will we reference each year for the decade of 2010?
I love love love root beer. Did you know that Diet Barq's root beer tastes exactly like regular root beer? And it has no caffeine, so I let my kids drink it when we go to the movies.
It bugs me that all root beer logos have that sorta faded red/orangy color. Hires, A&W, Mug, Millstream, Stewarts - all of them are in this pallette.
Why does rootbeer get the color shaft like that? Isn't it a big red white and blue American drink? That color just isn't nearly as appetizing as the beverage itself.
