So happy Friday is here. Last day of school yesterday; that went well. We got two great report cards and a Standardized test report that I couldn't really figure out but it appears Carson did well.
We're leaving in an hour, or whenever Dan gets home, and heading up to Tickville aka my mom and dad's cabin until Monday. Got bug spray, got hats, got socks, got long pants. Now I'm just running around trying not to forget anything.
I am SO happy it's Friday! I had a 7:30 meeting this morning. I don't even get into the office until 8:00 most days so I am beat! I set my alarm for 5:00 cuz I like to hit snooze for a while and the friggin' dog woke me up at 4:15. Ugh!

One of my best friends and his GF are on their way here from NYC - Doc Zh and Amber and VB met them - and I'm going off tonight. The Mermaid opted out of the being 22 months pregnant in a bar watching her husband behave like a jackass, surprisingly. So woo hoo! Fun times tonight!
We already bought the case of beer for Friday Happy Hour at the office today, and I'm just watching the clock until 4pm because that's as early as I think we should ever start.
I didn't think today would ever end. We have an air quality issue in the mechanics shop that for whatever reason, I'm stuck figuring out how to solve it instead of the safety folks.
Do I look like I work for OSHA?
Do I?!!
NO!
Good time,cathleen.
I had good time Saturday today at
good place like a Hotel California,Eagles in my city.
I am planing to go to a distant place to see fire bug.
I hope it'll be fine tomorrow night and the bugs welcome me.
I'm not 100% clear on what Makoto just said but it still sounds lovely.
I'm chilling this weekend. After party week for Linds last week, I'm still finding bits of silly string and gum wrappers. :/
Now interupt my chillaxin weekend with debil kitten. While chasing his tail on one of my stereo speakers (tricky yes) he knocked the clock off the wall which then hit a set of crystal candle holders, which then crashed to the ground behind the TV.
This of course is after his morning game of 'pull a few blind slats off the rack' while running in and out of the panels.
He's banned from my room for pulling out USB cables and the sound jack.
We're having a terrific time! We got here Friday at dinnertime. (not suppertime) Yesterday morning I picked tick off my side (blech) and this mroning, a bear ran through the backyard. But we're still having fun. Pictures tomorrow.
Just got back from taking Carson and Megan fishing with Mom Mom and Pop Pop. Lauren stayed back at the cabin with Dan. And....just got an embedded tick out of Megan's head. I had to keep myself from completely freaking out. She had a hat on but that apparently didn't help. Blech, blech, blech.
The bear was black. It wasn't that big. My dad said it was probably about two hundred and fifty pounds. It sniffed around the garden a little and then took off. The girls were really excited. Me, not as much.
Do they have Frontline for people?
Seems like something to get for the next time you go to Tickville.
Hopefully, the weekend was enjoyable, aside from the Ticks and Bear.
Okay, I have decided to make it my mission this summer to figure out what "Coo Welcome! Fermeriya!" means. I will be doing a sample study later this evening.
Something said with such conviction must have an important deeper meaning.
Hey, Caps, I'll probably have sex tonight. Pbltpbltpblt.
