Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there!

The girls and I brought Dan his Father's Day cards with breakfast in bed this morning. He's not a big breakfast eater, so the girls agreed on a Nutrigrain bar, a plastic bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and a cup of coffee. We have laundry and yard work to do today...woot! But I am making a nice big dinner.

Plans?

My daughter has a singing recital at 12:30 this afternoon.
Then we'll be going to my parent's house.

It was strange calling my dad to wish him a happy day because I haven't really thought about father's day for like 24 years. I love it!

Anyway sad to say I just came from a funeral. My friends dad died on Wednesday. It sucks having to bury anyone but yor father on father's day really sucks!
