(aside: I had an alcoholic friend in college that would eat anything not nailed down when wasted. After a big cookout one night, flipped on light in kitchen to see him standing, fork in hand, shoveling in raw chicken trimmings from cutting board. He remembered none of it, probably mercifully.)
