I thought it was a little weird too. However, the discussion was at lunch about alcoholism- and the person I was talking to was a recovering alcoholic, so I thought they would be in the know.

I could kind of see it- I work with about half of the 10 percent out there.

Oh, you are in insurance too, AC? Seems like everyone I work with has a drinking problem. There is beer in our fridge at work just in case.

I stopped drinking alcohol about a year ago but its tough. It was getting to be too much of a regular occurance for me so I quit. There is alcoholism in my family and it scares me that I was going down that path.

In certain Pentecostal sects of Christianity in the U.S. dancing with live snakes is done.  People do ocassionally get bitten and die.  That may explain some of the snake bite deaths in U.S. of A.
