I'm trying to decide what to have for lunch. A food of the day recommendation might help. happy.gif

Might I suggest two peanut butter sandwiches? Delicious.

Haha. Tequila is a wonderful and dangerous thing. Its like truth serum.

Right now I'm eating dry roasted peanuts, which are pretty dang good. I haven't had a pb and j in like a year. When I do eat them I like them with honey.

Alright this is the only place I've even heard of wasabi peas and you're like the 4th person I've seen mention them (doesn't Todd take these to like every movie he sees?). Fill me in on what these are and if they're worth seeking out.

They're frigging amazing!

I get them from a helath food store near my parents' house. Dried peas with some sort of crazy wasabi coating. Yum.

They are good if you like wasabi. I get a craving for it occasionally and the only things that satisfy are wasabi peas or sushi. They can sometimes be hot enough to clear out your sinus cavities, though. Or worse, intolerably sweet. So dont get discouraged if you buy a type your dislike.

You may be able to find them in the Asian section of the grocery store or in an Asian food market. I also like them on salad.

Here's a brand I like "Hapi":

Just kidding. My usual lunch date is out sick today. I should go over to Jiffy Lube, I need my coolant flushed.

I realize that sounds like I was making a joke, but my engine started overheating this week. I put some water in it and it hasn't done it again, but I really do need to have the coolant checked.

Oh! Ha! I just think "check your underwear?" is funny.

Now that I think about it, I guess only the fogies old enough to remember gas station attendants would get it.

Ahhh, well that sucks then. But it was still funny.

I have had it with my stupid mechanic jerks in town here, after realizing that they royally ripped me off when I had my muffler replaced.

Energy drink and candy here... I'm leaving in 30 min and don't feel like taking time to eat.

And Wegmans (Grocery store... for those not on the east coast... that is if they haven't moved west yet... and if they have I used up a set of parenthesis for this?) has wasabi peanuts. I like them better than the wasabi peas.
