Im not in the mood to work today and started my day out by waking up late (got to work on time though). Now, its only 10:30 and Im already thinking about what Im going to do for lunch.

Whatchoo doin for lunch?

How do you motivate yourself when you dont feel so motivated to work?

I dont know. Im not a doctor but that doesnt seem healthy. I think you'll mess up your metabolism that way which could lead to weigh gain.

I dont function well when I am hungry...and I get all cranky and shaky.

No lunch plans yet and it's after noon.

Starvation seems bad for you. I've read that your metabolism for the day is based on your first meal, and if there is no protein & carbs for your body to gain energy from then it'll eat your muscles.

Recently heard this guy speak and read his book:

I've just discoverd that I can make almost anything using puff pastry.

I made a nice little cheezy pocket thing the other day that was AWESOME!

I mixed cream cheese with some Feta cheese, and added a shitload of diced onions. Spun them up in a processor, and then wrapped them in round pieces of puff pastry dough. glazed with some egg and baked for half an hour.

SUPER DELICIOUS CHEESY ONIONY GOODNESS!!

Next I'm adding some ham!

Enjoy the Kool-Aide (made from real crap)

Boneless skinless chicken breast

Alouette cheese (or Boursin) I like garlic herb.

Frozen Puff Pastry (Pepperidge farms)

Take the pastry out of the box and let it thaw a little at room temp (just takes a few minutes)

Take out some of the cheese and put it in a bowl (because I never use the whole thing and I don't want to get any raw chicken juice on the container and have to throw away the whole thing of cheese. So take like half of it out.)

Lay out a piece of pastry and cut it like in fours. smear them with the cheese , put the raw chicken on top of the cheese, put some more cheese on top of that if you want, then cover it up with another peice of pastry and seal up all the edges. You can stretch the pastry quite a bit to make sure you get everything nice and sealed up. Repeat for however many you want to make. You can decorate the tops with leftover scraps and make flowers or whatever if you want. Brush the hops with an eggwash. Or not.

Bake at 375 for about 40 minutes.

YARM!!!

I like to make this with a cranberry/cherry or rasperry jello. (Make jello but instead of water add a chilled can of cranberry sauce, plus enough water to make what the recipe calls for). It's super yummy.

I had the weirdest craving for macaroni & cheese.  Not like the good kind either, but like the box kind with the freeze dried orange powder.  Dump a stick of butter in that and go to town.  I'm so hungry and I brought rabbit food for lunch.  I have a 3 mile jog waiting for me at home tonight too, I'm about ready to knaw off my arm.

Ohh, rice sounds good.  I bought some basmati rice, that's what I'm going to make tonight for dinner.  I like to dry toast my rice until golden brown then cook it in chicken broth with a pinch of salt.  God I'm so friggin hungry.
