I need a good book to read and the Board has always been a great source. this is for sort of a book club thingy - so should appeal to most people.
Any suggestions? Looking for fiction.

Light, funny, poignant
Heavy, thought provoking, depressing (but in an awesome way)

I recently read "My Abandonment" by Peter Rock. It was difficult to put down and I thought it would generate interesting discussions in a book club.

Christopher Moore is good, as long as you don't have any religious wackos. Good Omens by Neil Gaimon is also good but the same caveat applies.
Arwen, I keep forgetting to send you Wicked. Urgh. I'll do it this week.
