I'm taking my kids downtown Saturday morning to see the DragonCon parade. Iggy is dressing up as Captain Jack Sparrow, and Erin is going to be a zombie. We are going with a bunch of friends, who are all dressing up. It's going to be a blast, and I've been looking forward to it for the whole summer.

The author of the Sookie Stackhouse books is gonna be there too Cool.

Diana Gabaldon is going to be there! I LOVE HER! I met her in 2001 when I lived in Halifax and had her sign all my books up til then. Unfortunately she doesn't come to PEI, so I didn't get the last one signed, and a new one is coming out in three weeks, which, also, no signing. But you can guarantee that I will be at the bookstore as son as it opens to buy it.

Diana Gabaldon is really cool at signings. When I met her she actually chatted with everyone a bit, rather than just asking your name - signing - and saying "next."

I've heard Stephanie Meyer is a bitch.
