Premise of the show:
An air headed young model obsessed with looks gets killed in a car wreck and comes back in a chubby lawyers body.
Sounds like it could be funny, right? Of course, it IS on Lifetime so there has to be the whole "I guess fat people are worth something too" realization eventually. Gee, we all learned a valuable lesson there, didn't we?
They tried to be a little bit funny in the first episode but the only funny thing was the lawyer busting out her office window because she was always too hot. Oh, and one line from her ditsy model best friend. "Fat things shouldn't happen to skinny people"
Now it's just a low budget, ultra feminine version of Matlock.
Why even go with the setup if you aren't going to follow through?
I'm still watching it because I kind of like it but it isn't the show they advertised at all.
Anyone else watch?
Am I missing something?

I'm still watching. I think the lead fat chick (and I can say that because I too, am a fat chick, although not usually a lead fat chick) is pretty. I think Margaret Cho is kind of wasted in the role she's in. I haven't watched in a couple of weeks though. I think the last one I saw was her parents getting divorced?
I keep wondering - if the model's soul went into the lawyer, where did the lawyer's soul go? Is it just floating around in the environment? Or did it go up to heaven, where it's looking down at what this model chick is doing, and getting pissed because hey, stop using my body vapid model?

I like her too (lead fat chick) although her one facial expression is starting to get on my nerves.
It's either no expression at all or bewilderment.
Margaret is pretty good in the show but they need a lot more of her and a lot less of the skinny bitch.
The ex fiance can take a hike too.
It's like somebody wrote a funny show and then the editors took out all the funny, filled it with PC crap and broken hearts, and still tried to sell it as a comedy.
Will fat chick be able to win back the heart of frat boy?
The suspense is killing me. And the show.
ETA The lawyer died too, she was shot. So, her soul is rotting in hell.

You are correct, Liz.
.
But to see a firefly means it reminds me something I lost in the past time or imagine some hope in the future,so shimmery bug light is adequate for me.
