I left Ottawa yesterday and after a long travel day I am happily posting with my iPhone, from a smallish town on the west coast of Canada. I am laying in bed, it's only 7:30 and I am on vacation damnit, watching the softest cat in the world look out the window at the grassy yards below. Life is good

I will be here for 5 days visiting a friend from highschool. I moved to a new city at the start of grade 11 and I met D on the very first day at my new school. We have been friends for 27 years.

Next stop, northwestern Ontario to hang out with some friends from university, my god daughter and a visit with my mom's best friend.

Then it's home for day to maybe do some laundry and check my mail and get organized for a visit to Boston. I'll get tomeet the lovely Lisa and the hilarious Dr. Zh. We have a Red Sox game scheduled. My first MLB game and I'm psyched to see them play the Blue Jays. Having grown up in Toronto, I'm gonna have to (quietly) cheer for my hometown boys

I have alaso planned a bus tour of the New England fall colours and dinner with some friends I met in Italy.

Finally, it's off to NYC for a short visit to meet more of my imaginary friends.
