Fire season again in California. This time, its hitting a little close to home for me. If anyone could spare a few vibes to keep the fires at bay, I'd appreciate it. Or even some kind, reassuring words would be helpful.
We're not evacuated yet, but there is a smallish (175 acres) fire burning about 5 miles from my house, and theres not much standing in its way. I'm at school now, but tonight when I get home I'll be packing an emergency bag for me and Sam, just in case.
They're saying its 50% contained. I'm gonna stay close to home until I hear "FULL Containment" just in case. I discovered that Motel 6 allows pets and I found a few that are either close to work or school and inexpensive.
Ruby. You probably already know this but if you have homeowners or even renters insurance then you should be able to get your ins company to pay for your hotel room.
editd to finish a word.

Fire is out, and I'm pissed that I let myself get so worried that I missed the opportunity of see "The Princess Bride" in a movie theater. That was my scrapped plan for Wednesday night.
Oh well. Thanks for all the vibes and luck wishes. They worked.
