Nooooo!

So, I was having a lot of computer trouble (again) with my HP. I sent it off to get fixed last week, I expect to get it back in about another 6 weeks.

In the meantime, I actually bought myself a new Dell laptop, which hopefully will be less stress inducing than my HP.

Well, I have some free time, so I was going to install The Sims on my new computer... I open the case and lo and behold I sent off my old computer with the disk in it.

Sigh.

Maybe time to buy a new game?

Suggestions?

Was it TS2?

If so you should buy Sims 3!

It was... and I just looked at the system requirements for Sims 3.

It needs 2.4 GHz P4 processor or equivalent when running Vista

My computer is 2.1 (I don't know what the P4 is) so I don't think it would work sad.gif

Is the processor in your new notebook a dual or quad core? If so it's probably better than a 2.4 GHz P4.

You most likely have a core 2 duo, a second gen dual core processor. A core 2 duo, running at 2.1 ghz is about twice as fast, if not faster, than a P4 (pentium 4) 2.4 ghz.

The bottom line is YES you can play that game. happy.gif

It IS a dual... I didn't know that made any difference.

Soon as I can justify buying it, I will.

Sweet beans!

You mean baked beans?
I like baked beans.
yep, sure do.

I'm trying to decide if I want to buy a new computer or just get a new mother board for this one.
