Both done with a store bought kit. They're fun. We baked the seeds. They were good right out of the oven, but sucked once they got cold

Happy Halloween, yo

Those are cool! I'm carving pumpkins next weekend. Not cheating with a kit, though. happy.gif

Have you ever had roasted watermelon seeds? They are good but a lot of work for very little seed payoff.

I'm sick. I'm trying to get well before the super duper far out concert. I want to participate in the pumpkin carving this year. I'll have to see how I feel. sad.gif

You get the pumpkin good and warm.
Then cut out and remove the face pieces.
Then take it outside and tip it forward.
The soup runs out the face holes.
Just the nose and eye holes.
Puke-n-Snot pumpkin.

Special-effects.

Very nice pumpkins!

Martha Stewart has a recipe for pumpkin seed brittle that I might try if I get real ambitious.

Thanks, Rainy and Jo and Ginny

Never had roasted watermellon seeds. Lots of work for little payoff sounds like sunflower seeds and I crunch them like a champ.

Rainy, I hope you feel well enough to carve one. Buy one of those kits. They make it easy but you can still be creative. The template is an outline. Your style will come throught. Especially once you light a candle in it. What a difference it makes.
