Astounding stuff. With the exception of the cereal, my kids haven't eaten any of that. Not that they eat well-rounded healthy meals three times a day, either....but still...
Luckily I like none of those things. Particularly Sunny D. It tastes like chemical death. and I've never liked Cap'n Cruch. Now Cinnamon Toast Crunch? Get in my belly.
Emokid is throwing slomo dove at my face, I guess that means he flipped me the bird
I love captain cruch berries. But yeah, if you eat them dry, they can hurt your mouth. Especially if you eat half the box in one sitting. Not that I would know...
Seriously, Linds always hated it. It's really nasty. You know when you're at the bottom of the OJ carton and the liquid is extra concentrated and thick? Sunny D is like that. Sickly goopy and sweet.
I think Pop Tarts are on the top of my gruesome list. Particle board with jam never struck me as being particulary nutritious.
And some kids up here get into the habit of snacking on ramen noodles (uncooked) with or without the seasoning pack. Blarg.
We are guilty of fraternizing with the Cap'n though on occasion and don't mess with me on Little Debbie brownies. Dems good eatin.
Uck. Although I like the cereal enough, I hate anything where the recipe contains Corn Flakes - even sweet stuff. I can't imagine coating chicken in it.
I loved Capn Crunch w/crunch berries when I was little. I used to dump the whole box into a big bowl and seperate out the crunch berries I would get in so much trouble for that. But ya, like chewing rocks really. The roof of your mouth took a beating.
Cooked spinach, unless it's in quiche or something, is pretty disgusting. But fresh spinach salad, with toasted walnuts, cranberries, crumbly cheese and whatever else floats your boat, is the best salad in the world. It steals the lunch money and kicks sand in the faces of all other salads! Crisp Cesar, with fresh chicken and not too much dressing is a close second, but still second fiddle to The Spinach.
