Waihee Ridge Trail

After nearly choking to death in my sleep, I finally hauled my behind out of bed at 4am and decided I'd go hiking today.

While having my first smoke and coke of the day, I sharted. Lovely.

If that's not a sign to go hiking on ridgetops alone without telling anyone where I'm going or when I'll be back, I don't know what is!

Aparently on a clear day, the views are breathtaking. It was rainy today but I love clouds so, off I went. (Make that hiking alone on MUDDY ridgetops...)

The clouds were sticking to my hairy arms. (I'm selling this shot on Etsy!)

That was a pretty good hike but much harder than the one I posted a couple of weeks ago.

It was windy too.

Seriously Jiggy, holy shit you're a great photographer. You've gotten way way better over the years, and you started out pretty darn good. That first shot of the valley in the clouds is amazing. You make me want to move to Hawaii with every one of these threads.

I'm no photo-critic - but while your subjects are always breathtaking, your style and framing is very accessible and human - such that someone really feels like they are THERE, rather than looking through the slightly askew eyes of an art-teest? Does that make sense?

Really, really beautiful.

Squid took the words out of my brain -- absolutely stunning photos, Jiggy! And I like the dew on your arm hair, too.

Jiggy, that choking thing is scarey! Has that happened before? Am I missing a joke? I hope I'm missing a joke.

You are officially invited to come here and take some Hawaii pictures. But pictures of here. Plus you can't stay very long. Just long enough to take pictures.... 'cause that's how I am. Crabby. Unless you think it's a fun time to sit on your porch and whack a stick on floor and yell at people is a fun time. Well, then you could stay for a while.

Thanks everyone. happy.gif
I love to walk around and take pics. It's nice to have a place to share them.

Todd, I didn't know which one you meant so I sent three different ones.

Bider, the choking thing was weird and I think anon was right on the other thread, acid reflux. (is that the same thing as heartburn?) I have trouble with that if I eat something spicy before bed and I had pizza for dinner Saturday.
Also, I'm a total grouch so sitting on the porch being grumpy sounds like a good time. happy.gif

The pictures so beautiful, the words so ugly, the dichotomy too much for my little brain.

Wow, Jiggy --that's Maui, right? I had a date there back in the day and the whole memory of that day just wooshed back.

And a tip if you'd like it for acid reflux --drink some green tea a few times a week. It has some chemical in it that acts as a neutralizer.
