I don't see anywhere that NASA or Gray refer to that shot of Saturn as recent. It's a great one, either way. I also like the one where Earth is photobombing Saturn.
I was confused by use of the word "fake". Directly under the photo is a paragraph that starts with:
Explanation: In the shadow of Saturn, unexpected wonders appear. The robotic Cassini spacecraft now orbiting Saturn drifted in giant planet's shadow for about 12 hours in 2006 and looked back toward the eclipsed Sun.
I was in Coco Beach Fl. when Cassini was launched. There were a handful of protesters complaining about its nuclear power supply. NASA has millions of photos; I'm even in one or two... so... yes they do get desperate. They also have thousands of hours of video. They have no need to ever fake a photo. However, if I ever realized that I ever posted a fake photo of anything that I thought was real, I would concede to the truth. More facts:
A. Anons are not my favorite posters but I'm not an anon basher.
B. I still think it's a cool photo.
C. Cocoa Beach has a street called I Dream of Jeannie Lane.
