He sorta but not really called Obama Hitler.

And the world explodes.

And depending on who you believe, he was either canned or took his ball and went home.

WHAT ARE WE GONNA DO NOW?!?!

This is worse than when Gilbert Godfrey got sacked as the AFLAC duck!!

OH, The Humanity!

It was pulled, but they were nice enough to let Hank save face by claiming he pulled it himself.

Does anyone really care about the theme song to Monday Night Football? I'm sure Toby Keith and his people are working overtime to come up with a replacement that covers all of the hillbilly favorites. There will be boots and flags and everything.

You can't even admit that "are you ready for some football" was pretty iconic? It's been over 20 years. What am I saying? This attitude is totally predictable, internet. Then again, it's not the same since it's on ESPN and not ABC.

And All My Rowdy Friends are Coming Over Tonight is a great song.

I can relate. The Hockey Night in Canada theme was pretty recently changed after a legal battle and I grew up listening to that music. I know how you feel sad.gif

It's nice to see that Hank Williams Jr., much like 90% of the country, has absolutely no fucking clue what the 1st Amendment does.

It protects you from government reprisal for your idiotic words, you bumpkin. It does not guarantee that your sponsors will continue to use your shitty song after you say ignorant shit on TV.

Back when I was sentenced to retail management, I actually had a cashier try to tell me it was her 1st Amendment right to tell off a customer that was being rude. I was going to give her a warning, but I instead fired her on the spot for sheer stupidity. That was the last time I hired someone with a GED.

Should I even mention that I had told him on multiple occasions that I, in fact, was NOT ready for some football, but he kept pestering and asking me about it over and over again like an annoying child?

ESPN has done me personally a great service!

I'll bet you didn't complain when he kept asking you, "Do ya wanna drink? Hey, do ya wanna party?"
