Pink Floyd - Piper at the Gates of Dawn
Jeff Wayne - War of the Worlds

When I play CDs these one of these usually get played:
The Raconteurs - Broken Boy Soldiers
Pulp Fiction Sound Track
Garden State Sound Track
Forrest Gump Sound Track
Billie Holidays Greatest Hits
Lyle Lovett and His Large Band
ETA: Ok, I know I'm over 5 but I'll remove Forrest Gump CD because its usually SO that plays that one and add Prince - The Hits and B-Sides.

Pearl Jam - Vs./Vitalogy
Wilco - Being There/Sky Blue Sky
Miles Davis - Kind of Blue
Ryan Adams - Heartbreaker
Frank Sinatra - the Capital Years/Greatest Hits
So many more, but those are a good core of albums.
I also seem to listen to the Pixies' greatest hits, Foo Fighters The Colour and the Shape and Steely Dan Greatest Hits.
Hey Pee Jay! My work BFF recently went to a Ryan Adams' show. She goes to a lot of shows - a lot - and she said Ryan Adams easily moved into her Top 3 best ever!
... and I kept thinking "brian adams?"

Its weird with Ryan Adams - just when I think he's mainstream someone's never heard of him.
Described as alt country, but he's really just a mix of styles depending on the album. I definitely like his older/less recent stuff more than more recent, (Easy Tiger was just bad).
Marrying Mandy Moore might have mellowed him too much.
