You're not getting me again, Squid :P (although I did double check to make sure)

I kinda see a panda face but not enough to say that's what it's supposed to be.

Arwen, are/were you a Seinfeld fan?

Mr. Pitt couldn't see the sailboat. He REALLY can't see it now.

I'll grant you that, but it IS the wellspring of my reference, not Seinfeld. Ms. Not-really-know-it-all.

Kevin Smith was overrated. I remember thinking Clerks was a great movie but upon later review? It's not. I couldn't even sit through Mallrats.

That sailboat thing is a pretty big coincidence.

This is a different pic than the one ED posted about. Like Caps said, it's a kind of crappy image of two people dancing. Focus on the white parts instead of the black, that's how I saw it.

It wasn't good. Jason Lee couldn't act his way out of a wet paper bag, and Joey Lauren Adams makes the baby Jesus cry. Don't even make me bring up Dogma or any of his sequels. Drek.

Oh, my. No. Dogma? Terrible quasi-Blues Brothers, without the music to make it suck less. That movie made me want to punch a kitten.

Clerks was good, but didn't hold up very well.

Re: Hidden hide

I didn't hate any of them.

I think Kevin Smith's appeal with those movies was that they kinda seemed like a high quality version of a movie one of your friends might make. Which is essentially what they were, right? So some of the weaknesses were forgiven because you liked the idea that a guy from Red Bank like him could 'make good' in this way, and you were kinda along for the ride of his hollywood evolution? I had similar feeling about Damon and Affleck at the time, so it was like watching a bunch of pals work together and have fun. I agree of the 'Jersey Suite' movies, Mall Rats was the worst. I enjoyed Clerks and Chasing Amy. Dogma felt like a romp more than a real movie, but I liked all of them, so I went along for the ride. Zach and Miri make a porno was entertaining.
