Inane threads by pretend internet friends with videos of animals I don't particularly care for.

The beach. Just walking or sitting on the beach and hearing the waves, listening to the gulls, seeing something much bigger than me.

I love looking way way out into the ocean on a clear day. It's amazing how far you can see and add that to knowing how far you can't. Crazy. I could never take a little boat far out into the ocean where you can't see land. SCARY!!!

I visit my dad and brothers every Sunday, but if I get sad, I'll make an extra trip to see them. It always cheers me up to see their excited faces as they run down the driveway for hugs.

I love how my dogs seem to be confused by my singing. We went to a Bryan Adams concert last weekend (shaddup) and when we got home I was singing "Cuts like a knife"... and Sprocket jumped up on the couch and put his paw on my chin, like "Hush now. Hush."

Hmmm...maybe "confused" isn't the right word for how they feel about your singing.

Badger does the same thing. First she'll give a low warning type sorrowful wail, like "bitch, you better shut it". Then she'll come and get up close to my face and stare at my mouth like "it's coming out of THERE". Then she'll take her little furry paw and slap me across the face as hard as she can. This only happens when I sing Barry Manilow. Especially "Can't Smile Without You".
