I have a soft spot for rescue dogs myself. Four of my last four animals were former strays/rescues. Congratulations, some patience may be required while it unlearns any bad habits it may have picked up elsewhere.

No, it was directed at Caps. I don't get any of what happened after that.

He was originally named "Bently" but I didn't like that so I renamed him "Skip". Baxter was on my short list though. The other name I considered was Mosby.

He's a total mutt which is exactly what I wanted. On the website they called him a jack russell/boston terrier mix, and on his paper work it says fox/wire terrier.

Everyone asks and I proudly announce he's the muttiest mutt of them all.

He's somewhere between 3 and 5, they weren't exactly sure. He was a bit shy at first but already does dances when I come home. He is house trained for the most part; I got caught up in some activities last night and ignored his request to go out and he did hike his leg on a bed post, but apart from that (which was my fault) he has been going outside.

I haven't heard him bark yet, he loves everyone and loves me the most. Perfect dog.

I texted him this morning to let him know he is Skip's Godfather. I had to put someone on the application that they would call if he was found missing and they couldn't get a hold of me. Sleepwalker is one of the few people I know that will still be in my life beyond Skip's lifespan.
