My problem here is that he sent the foot to the conservatives and the hand to the liberals. Shouldn't this have been reversed?

Sending the hand to the conservatives would remind them that the governments whole reason for existence is to give people a helping hand - so while they're slashing budgets and stuff, to remember this. Heck, we can even play "Hands" by Jewel - even though we really don't know the size of this severed hand and Jewels hands are small, we know, even if its kind of a big hand, I think it still fits.

And since Liberals are always putting their foot in their mouth by fucking mistresses, and getting all blowhard, and trying to over-regulate shit - kinda like Squid in that other thread where Hep shut him down and we all read that and were all grabbing popcorn and settling in - the foot will remind them to keep shit in check. I can't think of a good foot song to accompany the opening of the Liberal foot package, but you're welcome to come up with some suggestions.
