I was just called a Nazi for the first time. Actually I was texted that I was a Nazi.
My boss and his wife are getting a divorce (family owned business) and its getting pretty nasty. She texted me that because I canceled her company IRA match at his request that I was a Nazi - among other things. She actually hasn't "worked" here in nearly a year even though she's still on payroll. However, really, she hasn't actually worked much in the last 5 years.
Anyway, the funny thing is is that about 12 years ago I quit this very job and wrote my boss a letter telling him exactly why - because he was not that much different from a Nazi. (He called me an we sorted stuff out but he still has that letter and drags it out every few years for a good laugh.)
The third reich didn't have employer matching 401k plans?
I don't think I've ever been called a nazi, lol. I'm not sure I would even know what they meant by it if anyone ever did. Unless, of course, they are referring to my concentration camps.
At least once a month. Usually happens when I won't let people park where they want to. And usually I say no because where they want to park is FULL. I've had to resist the urge to do a Nazi salute just to piss them off more....
People come in asking us to "Medallion Guarantee" documents all the time. A medallion guarantee is a stamp that says a bonded financial institution, and one of their representatives, have reviewed all documents for accuracy and personally guarantee that they are flawless - and accept responsibility for any losses that may occur due to any errors.
My boss usually sends these requests to me as I'm a shark at finding teeny tiny errors that justify refusing to stamp the docs. I probably honor 1 in every 10 requests that walk through the door. A client once called me the Medallion Nazi when I turned him away three separate times regarding the same docs.
The name stuck - which is especially ironic given my real name (which is super Jewy).
Yup, Lizz. She's just now realizing that I actually agree with taking her off all the company bennies except those that are covered by their separation agreement such as the health insurance. So, actually I'm not a blind nazi - I'm actually like Goebbels or something to his Hitler.
She also texted me that this won't be forgotten, and emailed me that I have to live with any future consequences that these decisions I'm making might have.
It's all so dramatic. Just in time for Dallas coming back on the air.
You should text back and tell her you've already forgotten all about her and her whiney bullshit. Well, all except for the threatening text, of course, which you will never delete from your phone.
I don't think anyone in "real life" has ever called me a nazi. If I have been called one it was probably on this board. I want to say I haven't but someone better at searching could probably dig one up.
As a Nazi, I have killed thousands of allied troops. I've also slaughtered thousands of Nazis as an allied trooper. Neither is my fault; I was just following orders the entire time.
Hahaha No! I have called an ex boss of mine Hitler and he is in my phone under that name. The things I get away with at my job! He actually loved the nickname, I miss him.
That was bitter, party of one taking it out on you.
I've worked at places where we've had Stalin and Moussoulini's.
Maybe a Mengele along the way as there was some diabolical pleasure derived
from our sufferage of bumbling fucktard directives.
