I've always been somewhat cautious of disclosing too much information on Facebook and am concerned by this email switch they just pulled:
Facebook has changed your email address on their website to a "facebook" address, even if you haven't set up a facebook email account ever
. This is highly invasive to me. Facebook won't let me use my gmail account, because that account doesn't have my real name in the email profile. They also won't let me simply have no email contact. Why would you need an email contact through facebook if people can send all the messages they want through the standard facebook message interface anyway? It smacks of some sort of marketing ploy with a forced buy-in target audience.
So.... I just switched my email to "real.nameHasNoFaceBkEmail". Your move Mark Zuckerburg.
