Re: Having a pet is a good thing to have in your LIFE!

This morning when I woke up I could hear my kitty meowing but I couldn't find him. My room is on the second floor and sometimes if Diego is outside and wants to come in he will get up on the roof and come to my window and cry for me to let him in.
So I go downstairs and look around then look around outside but I just can't find him. I go back upstairs and start a Marco Polo game of "Diego?" ... "meow!"..."Diego?"..."MEOW!!" until I find myself facing the armoire. I open up the doors, but no cat. Then I open the top drawer and ... there's the cat!
Apparently, Bobby had left his underwear drawer open and Diego jumped in. Then Bobby closed it sometime later unaware that Diego was in there.
So I send Bobby a text this morning that said "Thanks for doing laundry last night and for putting the clothes and the cat away this morning". Haven't heard back yet.

Anny that is funny! And yes, Koool, my pets are the best part of my day, even when they friggin piss me off.
Does anyone know if baby oil is harmful for dogs to digest? My Marlon Brando has a weird fettish. I left a bottle in dog reaching distance and when I returned Marlon had sucked down half of it. Whenever I put some on, Marlon is all over me. He LOVES that stuff. What gives?

Ah, boring. The least imaginative insult of all time.
Look, other anonpsycho, the only one you were able to drive off the deep end was Azusa. You're aiming too high here. ED was here when God was a boy. You don't stand a chance. You like to go for weaklings, because that's what bullies do. You've shot your wad. Face it.

I agree, Koool. Pets are pretty swell. My King Tut cat has been my buddy since I was 10. My sister and I told Santa we wanted a Siamese named King Tut and he delivered! He gives the best snuggles ever. But boy, is he spoiled and bossy!

pets bringing peace and sanity? Not so much for us last week on the first day of summer vacay.
Our slightly manic 9 month old ball of terror started the day, 6:30 am, by getting his head stuck round the handle of a plastic bag full of empty pop cans meant for the recycle bin. After a few laps round the kitchen and enough clatter to wake the dead he was apprehended.
After we tried to get back to sleep, he decided to throw dishes, namely my coveted French White lasagna pan. The clean pan, which had been on the stovetop came crashing to the floor shattering into a brazillion effing bits after one of his 'walkabouts'. At 7 am :/
