I tried to join Scientology. I love the idea of it.

They used to have a "Reading Center" in my town and I asked the girl there if I could join. The catch was that I didn't want to spend years as one of the rubes working for the church for free and forking over all his money for Theta Evaluations or whatever other bullshit they get you for. I wanted to skip right to bilking others, fair-gaming enemies, kidnapping disillusioned former members and various other nefarious deeds for which Scientology is famous.
