Max and Skip have hung out a couple of times. In fact, currently dog-sitting Skip whilst Theo traipses around New England.

We also discovered this Dog Bar in Charlotte. Plan on taking the dogs there sometime in the next few weeks. Maybe a photo thread out of it...http://www.dogbarcharlotte.com/

They have modified it lots since the photos on that website were taken. Has a whole covered outdoor section with pup-pools, pup exercisers, misters to beat the heat, and of course lounge chairs for the owners to drink their draft.

Dear Max's Daddy,

I sense you taking Max down a slippery slope. Just a few short weeks back Max laid it out.....he was tired of the routine, the food and the boring trips to Petsmart and Target. He was leaving home. Tired of teens, stale Snausages and bullshit.

You needed to let him go. Make it so his decision to return was his 'alone'. He's old enough to experience the world. To know what it's like to be hungry and seek employment.

But now I read about the enticement of holiday resorts, bars, pools, Beggin strips and
free-range bitches?!!!! This is simply inappropriate pooch daddyism. How can he be an independent thinker when the dirty lure of the bar and
poolside Greenies is there, AND endorsed by daddy?

Max needs some time to think about his actions and not be rewarded for his blatant tomfoolery. Running away and telling Daddy to eff off should not be rewarded by holiday camps. Max, when he has developed better cognitive
or dognitive abilities will see through your thinly veiled trickery.

The young dog brain is messed up enough with media dictating to them how they should be eating hippy health foods, the barrage of LOLcat visuals making them feel less 'adorbs' and the very fact that they will never NEVER be as good as that dog who skips double dutch. Ever.

Yep, Smirk was gracious enough to keep Skip for four days. He also had me over for the fourth, bought me a sandwich and beer, and refused any payment for dog sitting. You guys all screwed up by not moving to the Charlotte area first!
