Depends what you are looking for.† For just movies, probably Starz. But I like the series on HBO and to a lesser extent, showtime.† Right now I have HBO and I think they threw in the Movie Channel with it but I seldom if ever†watch the Movie Channel.
We have Cinemax, Showtime, HBO, Starz, and Encore. I watch movies so infrequently, I'd be better off flushing my money down the toilet. Except then I'd clog my pipe as if I'd been using flushable wipes
Actually, I've called my cable company and getting rid of them also means getting rid of about a hundred other non-movie channels, some of which we like, and maybe shaving $15 off the bill.
I like Encore, because I like watching old favorites. For newer stuff, I probably watch HBO the most.
I have HBO, Showtime and Cinemax, that latter being a pile of shit but they all come as a package deal. It's so annoying to see the same small pool of stupid movies move around from one to the other but I can't give them up since the TV is my bff.
Rainy - Call you cable company and say you are interested in HBO, but not sure if it is worth the money.† They will magically have some special offer where either it's free for a few months, or they'll give you more than one channel for less than that.
I am with bark. I got rid of cable 2 years ago because I got laid off from my last job but I kept the internet. Now that I am working again I am so use to just the internet with netflix and other stuff . So I do eveything through the computer now even my home phone with the magicjack.
So all the bills I have is internet about 50$ a mounth magicjack 20$ a year and I listen to the radio for news and stuff for free and pay my rent and car insure. and my bills are really low and I like to keep it that way so I can spend my money on better things I need in life !
