On the walk to my friends boat, I trash picked an out door light fixture. construction crew was gutting condos and it was just laying on top of the dumpster. when I asked if there was more one guy said "kinda greedy, ain't ya?"

I don't understand why that guy said that to you, Appy. It's there for the pickin'. I hope you gave him "The Whitney"
When Autumn's dad and I got our fist apartment together my friend and I were driving around and saw one of those really bad wicker peacock chairs sitting out for trash. We pulled over, grabbed it, and MADE it fit into her Ford escort.
Our pitbull chewed it to peices a few days later.
When I was 14 or 15 that wicker peacock chair was the only gift I wanted for xmas. I drug that thing around and sat in it everywhere... Watching tv, eating dinner, in my room. It was awful and uncomfortable but I didn't let that stop me.
I went to help a friend with her yard sale in June and came home with Dan's Father's Day present (a new grill) in the back of his truck. But that was only unexpected for him.
I shudder to even think about buying other people's upholstered anything. Mattresses, sofas, chairs with cushions. No offense, Kohs, but I know a parent at school where I teach who got something from Goodwill (a chair?) that was INFESTED with bugs. I always fear the unseen. Anything plastic or wood, you can clean. And you can clean cushions and mattresses but not REALLY.
