Ugh. ALMOST asleep and woken up by a 4.4 earthquake right underneath me. Well now I'm awake.
Also, here's something random, I saw Dave from Storage Wars on the way home from work today. He was sitting in a huge white truck with his name in giant black letters, so I know it was him. (That YEEEEEEP guy).

It's small, but when you are right on top of it you definitely feel it. Basically the whole building and bed shakes, not quite enough to throw stuff off shelves but enough to get your attention. Plus, there's that moment of panic when you aren't sure if that was a small one you were right on top of, or a huge one far away, so you feel the need to get up and turn on the TV and computer to find out if Northern Cali just fell into the ocean. This one felt close to me - It seems like the close ones shake more and the farther away ones roll. But, I was about 30 miles away from Northridge and that sucker SHOOK.
Do you guys watch Shipping Wars? I don't but I think I just had a million dollar idea.
Imagine a quaint little mom and pop framing store. People come in and talk about the back story of the photos they want custom framed. Some stories are touching, some shocking, and some are truly weird. Behind the scenes the employees fight and bicker. I think I'm going to shop it around.
Everybody hates Dave and loves Barry. I hate Dave but I saw a chink in his armor when he was talking about his brothers being dicks to him and he says, kinda wistfully, "and that's why Dave Hester is the way he is." Sob.
My husband likes the show so I watch it. I'm not emotionally invested. Not at all. Shut up, Arwen.
Yeah, again, the second one wasn't enough to get me out of bed. Told the dog to shut up and comforted Sami-cat, then went back to sleep.
I hate the whole show to be honest. But people leave it on in the breakroom all the time and I get sucked in to it. That and Pawn Stars, but with that one, I just yell at the people selling stuff that he's low balling and to walk away.
