Hello Char, So, am I correct in assuming that what you're saying in your last post (about the ten nations)is that Rome is the "Babylon" described in Revelation 18 that is destroyed? I'll agree with that. Actually, I'll take it one further and apply it to the entirety of the Catholic Church and not just the city of Rome itself. Rome as a city is just that -- a city. The Vatican (within Rome) is the seat of power of Catholicism.
Hello Brother. The Babylon of Rev 18 is the church. Not just the Catholic Church, but the fallen church of Jesus Christ. But, since the Vatican (in Rome) is the head of the Catholic Church, and since the Protestant Church came from the Catholic Church, Rome, as the head, will be hit when Satan comes against the church with power. The fallen church in America also will suffer greatly during the days to come.
Rome, and the Vatican, will be a target of the Muslims. In their mind, they will be removing "infidels" from the earth, by the will of Allah, just as they would like to destroy all the Jews, and to attack America. The Koran already encourages them in these ideas. The church, Jews, and America are all enemies, in their minds, thanks to the lies of their god allah, who is the god of this world, Satan.
Am I also correct then to assume that you're saying that the Catholic Church belongs to Jesus? You say that Satan is angry because Jesus took Rome from Satan and established "His catholic church" (meaning "Jesus' catholic church") there?
The Catholic Church absolutely belongs to Jesus. Yes, Rome killed Jesus. The Israelis at that time desperately wanted Jesus, as the Messiah, to bring down Rome. He never promised to do so, because He knew it was so much better to bring Rome to Him, which He did. It was for this reason, for the future, from the Holy Spirit, that Paul was taken to Rome, which eventually became a Christian nation. Until the fifteen hundreds, there was no Protestant church. You may assume that the Holy Spirit left the Catholic Church with Martin Luther, but you would be wrong. What the Father wanted was the errors within the Catholic Church to be pointed out, and they were. Also, a new sect was established with Lutherans, and then many other Protestant groups came later. The enemy moved in the Catholic church, just as he has among the Protestant church, to cause harm and pain, as he always does when he is allowed in by false teaching. However, Jesus never left the Catholic Church. To this day, they honor His life and death and resurrection for us. They do not teach another Savior, nor that there is another God.
Wherever you find an oppressive government; cruel to its people and/or to women, you can be sure the enemy is there. Rome was an oppressive force, getting its power from the sword, and people's natural fear of death, just as the Taliban got its power from oppression and fear. Both were from Satan. But Jesus brought Rome to Himself, and Satan is
STILL angry about this. I know this by the Holy Spirit, who spoke of this to Silvana and to me. He looks for revenge, even after all this time, and he will take it, when the Muslims come to power.
I know you've been rather ecumenical in your views toward the Catholic Church, and I'm sure there are many Catholics who "love Jesus", but the Jesus they know is not the same Jesus you and I know. The Jesus they know is angry and must be appeased by the "Queen of Heaven" which they call "Mary" the Immaculate Conception.
It
is the same Jesus. You must go to Jesus, whom you love, and ask Him. Go into the throne room and ask Him if Catholics are speaking of Him. He will tell you they are. They worship Jesus differently than Protestants, but they love Him and honor Him and He is present there. Not always are they right in all they say, of course, just as many Protestant churches teach things not from Him, as the
Doctrines of Demons page on our web site addresses. Actually, the Catholic Church is in better shape than the Protestant one at this time. Catholics are not so prone to make it all about themselves. They know that Jesus' sacrifice is the highest thing in the universe, and they honor Him for it.
They are being called to account for the sin within them, as the scandals of the priests comes to light, but this is only for the good of their many members. We also have to give account for our sin, so we can only judge them with justice and mercy, according to the Holy Spirit. The people and many priests are doing the right thing by insisting that the men who have sinned in this manner are brought to justice, and making a stop from it ever happening again.
You know all this Char. How can you possibly lay the Catholic Church to Jesus' charge? They are the ones who blaspheme our Lord every Sunday when they claim to crucify Jesus afresh and anew each time they hold communion.
Has Jesus ever told you that they blaspheme Him every Sunday? He hasn't. This is some teaching you were given. They believe that Jesus becomes present in the host. So? Jesus can be everywhere at once, since He is God. You cannot say they are wrong unless Jesus Himself says this to you. If He wants to inhabit the host, then He can do so. They desire to honor Him by remembering Him weekly, for His great death and resurrection. This pleases the Father.
They are the ones who blaspheme the Lord in confessing to men, calling others "father" who are not our Father in Heaven, reciting prayers in vain repetition, praying to dead "saints", praying for the dead, praying to idols, praying to "Mary". The list is endless.
There is nothing wrong with calling a priest "father" out of respect for his service to Jesus. The apostle John spoke to those "who are fathers" in the church. Paul called himself a father to Timothy. Jesus was not setting a physical rule when He said not to call men father, nor teacher. He meant that no man should let the place of God the Father be taken in their heart or mind by a human being, and do not let any person take the place of the Holy Spirit, who is the Teacher given to us, who is God. (I never have seen anyone who thinks that a priest takes the place of God, but I know many who do not let the Holy Spirit be their teacher, but look to pastors or human teachers to lead them. They don't even know the Holy Spirit's voice, nor that He can be known.)
Do you ever speak to anyone you see in the Cloud of Witnesses? By the Holy Spirit I sometimes see some of our brothers and sisters who have gone before, and on occasion one or another might speak to me, or to Silvana. I have seen Paul, David, Adam, Abraham, Mary, and many others who have gone before us. Paul must have seen these people in order to tell us about them by the Holy Spirit. There is no sin, nor wrong, in speaking to them.
We know that there is no intercessor needed between us and Jesus, for
HE IS the intercessor between God and man. The Holy Spirit was speaking of this to us recently, and that is a point He made clear. (Which we will post soon to the web site on a page about the Catholic Church.) Jesus came to man from God. We don't need a saint to reach Him. But do you think God would reject people who love Jesus because they talked to the saints? No, He wouldn't and He doesn't.
We will know all the saints soon. Heaven is drawing near to earth, as the time for Jesus to return draws near, and the dead will speak to the living, to encourage us in the fierce days to come, until we are all united under Jesus, the One who gives each of us eternal life. We will be resurrected together to the feast in the New Jerusalem. This we know by the Scriptures, and by the witness of the Holy Spirit. Since this is so, then we can point all men to Jesus, yet we need not worry if they speak to one who is only human, who has gone before us. Some may speak to the saints and receive answers, as Saul did when he spoke to Samuel. Some speak to Mary, and she speaks to them. I may not call her "queen of heaven", but I do know that great respect is given to her, even from the Father Himself. He Himself chose her to be Jesus' mother, and her love for children, and for mankind is deep. He chose her, not only out of all the Jewish women alive at that time, but out of all the people created in mankind's existence. She was His choice, and she was born at that time, to bear Jesus. Great respect and honor is due to her.
Let me make a comment about Mary and about women in general, and the days to come. In this day of choosing good or evil, one can contrast the Father's loving, gentle attitude about women and about Mary with Satan's harsh and cruel view of women. Mary is loving and turns all men to Jesus. The Father doesn't mind if we honor her, for He loves her and He knows she turns people to Jesus. In this day and hour, it is time for the Bride of Christ to stand by Jesus, and be obedient to Him in these final fierce days on earth, up until the day He returns for us. For this reason, to symbolize the bride, His wife, He has called a woman as an apostle, and a woman as a prophet. When Jesus returns to earth, as He will shortly, the curse will be lifted, just as the Scriptures promise. When that happens, the effects of the curse will no longer be on earth, and women will return to the place they were called, which is with equal status to Adam. You may not have thought about these things, brother, but they are coming soon, and the Holy Spirit says they are so. Mary is honored, and this harms no one, and helps many. Women are going to be restored, by Jesus' side, as they would have been, had they not been deceived in the garden.
How can you dismiss all this (and more) and call the Catholic Church as something that Jesus established? Study the history of the Catholic Church and you will find that it doesn't begin with the Disciples. It begins in paganism. No, if Satan is angry, it is surely not with Rome. Rather, Satan's anger is bent on only one city -- Jerusalem.
Jesus established the church. Not the Catholic Church, nor the Protestant church, just the church. And the Catholic church is a part of His church. It began with Peter, who was a cornerstone for the church. Then came other leaders, down through time.
Before you draw final conclusions about the Catholic Church, study the history of the Jewish nation, as shown by Scriptures. A judge of Israel sacrifices his daughter, after making a vow to God. A man cuts up his concubine, after she was raped to death by other Israelis, and sends her body parts to the twelve tribes. Jesus, God Himself, comes to earth as a man and is rejected, and then murdered. Apostles and other servants of God are murdered. Yet, if you conclude by this that Israel no longer belongs to God, you would be wrong. They are His forever. He is returning Israel to Himself.
Here is something the Holy Spirit said to us: the number of man is six, as you probably know. A heavy price was exacted from the men and women of Israel for their rejection of Jesus. The nation Israel was scattered among the world for centuries, without a home of their own. Finally came the holocaust, and six million Jews were murdered by Satan in a short period of time. Six million Jews was the price exacted from the Jews for the Son of God's death. Once this price was paid, then the Father moved on their behalf, and the nation Israel came into existence. Fifty years after the nation began, in 1948, the final seven years began which lead up to the return of Jesus.
You are mistaken about Satan's anger. I have personally seen his anger about this, plus the Holy Spirit has spoken of this. Our great enemy has three that he hates, and wishes to take from the earth; Jerusalem (and all Jews), America, and the church. Each belongs to Jesus, who is the One he really hates.
Please tell me you weren't saying that the Catholic Church belongs to Jesus, Char.
Kindly, Your brother in Jesus.
I do say the Catholic Church belongs to Jesus. The remnant are those who truly believe and love Jesus, and they come from the Catholic church and the Protestant Church. I hope you will ask Jesus about all that I am saying here, for I know it is different than you have been thinking. However, now is the time for all to lay aside any personal opinions you might have, and teachings received while in the fallen church, and come to the Father and hear the truth from Him.
With love,
Char
