there are a lot of things to see in P.R., but your stay is a short one, only 5 days. Since you are staying in San Juan, you should check out Old San Juan and while you are there check out the Spanish Fort "El Moro".

Since you are coming down to Hatillo, you should check out the "Marina" of Hatillo and maybe if you have the time you could take a refreshing swimn at the "Sardinera's" Beach located on the No. 2, in Carrizales of Hatillo. The reason I recommend the Sardinera for a swimn is because it has a natural ocean pool that is safe for swimning, the beach at the Marina is rather rough most of the time.

You might want to check out Lake Guajataca, there is a dance hall/rest there that has a beautiful view of a small water fall, plus from up there you can see the fish swimning along the shore and you can check out the tropical birds in their natural environment. Here I am sending you a link to my site about Lake Guajataca for more details. http://puerto_rico9.tripod.com/vistalago2.htm
Just tell the owner (Ismael) that Eddie Ferrer sent you, he is a friend of mine.

I hope you enjoy your visit to P.R., have fun.

      Sincerely,
      Eddie Ferrer
